Dancey and Wes {Wedding}

I love weddings. I love the joy that is felt when two people love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together. I love the smiles, the laughter, the whole atmosphere. It was so fun to meet Dancey and Wes. They are such a fun couple, with such a genuine love for one another, and with two families who obviously love THEM! I had such a great time photographing their wedding festivities.

Thanks, Dancey and Wes, for letting me part of your special day. I wish you all the happiness in the world!

Snowy Bridals

I was so excited to do these Bridals for Dancey. First of all, it had been a while since I had done a bride. Second, she wanted to do something “country-ish” outside… even if it was snowy. Third, she’s just so darn pretty! What more reason do you need to be excited about a session? We ended up at a friend’s barn, and although it was chilly, the sun was shining and it was actually really a beautiful day.

We got SO MANY FUN IMAGES! It was actually really hard to choose which ones to post here on the blog!

The light was GORGEOUS inside the barn. I really want to go back and shoot a whole bunch more sessions there… anyone want in?

I love the colors she chose. Red and Turquoise are a beautiful combination.

And boots? I was so glad when she told me she was wearing boots… I knew it would be pretty dirty at the barn, and that we’d already have to be pretty careful with her dress, but boots can take anything! And how cool are they?

I really enjoyed getting to know Dancey and her super fun personality. Plus, what a cool name she has!

And those EYES? Are you kidding me? She probably thought I was such a dork when I kept telling her how amazing they are!

Like I said… PERSONALITY! Her Wes is one lucky guy. She is a ton of fun.

Tromp out into the deeper snow? Sure! She was up for anything. So we did. We trekked out into the field, and the snow was deeper in some spots than it looked, but we found a spot that wasn’t TOO deep, and we captured some pretty fun shots. This was so fun.

I got to shoot her wedding a couple of Saturdays ago, and I can’t wait to post images from their special day. It was tons of fun.
